"Were was built around a wave sequence I made in the Wavestation - still my favorite synth of all time. We were obviously all in a more emotional state during the making of III. Were seemed to capture that the most out of all the songs we made in that period. To me, its just a really sad and beautiful song, which was enhanced further by Kevins idea to have Peggy come in and play Cello on it, which he directed. Were is among my favourite Download tracks."
