PHIL WESTERN RELEASES COLLECTION ON RUSTBLADE
Update :: Corey

After a number of years of silence, Phil Western, Download's "other half," is returning to releasing music with a new compilation set for release June 5th on the Rustblade label, home to Thrill Kill Kult and Justin Bennett's project, Bahntier. Laborandum covers material, both under Phil's own name and by his Kone project, that only saw limited release and which has been out of print for years. From the glitchy to the Detroit, the aggressive to the shoegaze, Laborandum forms a career overview essential for any Download listener.
Wrapped in a sleeve designed by the brilliant Allen Jaeger, Laborandum will be available in three formats: a single CD, a limited boxed set with a second disc, a postcard, a sticker, and a pendant, and a super-limited deluxe set featuring three discs and all the above goodies.
